With a little cutting and hammering you get their attention.
If you have patience and they're not too flakey, well there's a star in there somewhere
It's just a matter of removing all that stuff that isn't going to sparkle.
And there's lots and lots of that stuff too
All it takes is patience, persistance, and polishing.
Right? Well, there is this little matter of dust.......
And having the right tools.....
I wanted to make the attachments for the star stone a little neat. So I made them orange, bright orange.

A square peg won't fit correctly in a round hole. So the edges need to be adjusted.
And-adjusted
Then adjusted some more
Then like a fish it needs to be scaled.

And as in real life, when a square peg fits into a round hole, all is well with the world.

I had to make some handles for the rock star. No. I'm not talking about love handles either. That takes time and diet.
And of course the handles had to have sleeves. But you already knew that.
There's a method to my madness.
Just so we're on the same page. I'm working alone and I need all the help and handles I can find. Here's a closer close up.

As txdon will confirm, we got lucky again.
It's like he says, "I'd rather be lucky than good. Anyone can be good. That only takes effort."
