Supposedly one of the problems with using V Mesh is you can't roll up and down grade with it.
We got lucky with the stuff we got. It rolled up and down just fine.

Here's the way it works when the wire is on the same side of the fence as the tractor.
But of course occasionally the wire is on the other side. Driving a tractor down the neighbor's side of the fence sometimes goes over like a, well, uh, not well.
Here it was only a small tree that was the fly in the ointment. But the principle is the same.

Ready to rock and unroll!
To load the handler one slides the pipe with the base into the core of the roll of wire. One then stands the wire up. The boom is then slid over the pipe, rod placed, va va voom!
And the best thing of all is after one gets the wire up, tensioned, dressed, and tied one isn't too pooped to pop.
One of the complaints about V Mesh is it's impossible to make look good when the terrain isn't perfectly flat.
I guess I just got lucky.
